If you don’t know what Twitter is, here’s how they describe it at their website:
Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?
While that description tells us what Twitter is and does, it has blown up to be quite a bit more.
Started in March 2006 as a side project, Twitter has evolved to produce other websites based around its service, fostered third-party applications to interact with it, a host of other services, news, information, support, links, social gatherings for events, and on and on.
We’ll be looking at all the stuff that surrounds Twitter here on DailyTwiTips.
